Ieva’s linocut prints always have a huge surprise factor because the end result is different each time. Various colour compositions, lots of handwork and vision all go into putting everything together. Coloured linocut prints are all carved out at the end so no more prints can be done.

These linocut prints are made to make us feel one with nature and animals as this heals our body and soul. Animals and nature have been part of the ecosystem long before humanity existed.

We have since forgotten that humans learnt how to survive from animals and we need to embrace them as companions or even friends.

The Inner Quest brings up this topic to help unite humanity and nature. The angel in the prints sends music and art to give us a wake up call to start loving ourselves and others. Angels represent symbolics figures of higher energy which are more than just physical matter. This helps us to complete our mission on this planet no matter how big or small it is, and reminds us that we are all important here.
